On 11.23.17, The Yeshiva World published an email from a reader who said he saw State Sen. Felder buying a gift card for a homeless man in Dunkin’ Donuts. From the article:
This morning I was in Dunkin’ Donuts, a man was begging for some food outside the store.
Senator Simcha Felder told the man to please come inside and bought him a gift card. He quietly handed the man the card while no one else was around. I was walking out when I realized what was happening. I asked the Senator if I could post the picture he said if he was the guy on the asking side he would not want the picture posted. I blocked out the man’s face and decided to share this story.
